Booking & Refund Policy

At Hit House Detroit Inc., we operate at an industry-standard level. When you book a block of studio time, that room and our engineers are locked in exclusively for you. We respect your time, and we require the same respect for ours. Please review our official cancellation and refund policies below before finalizing your session.

We understand that the music industry is unpredictable, but our schedule is highly competitive. Refunds and reschedules are strictly bound by the following timeframes:

• 48+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session start time are eligible for a 100% full refund or a free reschedule to a new date.
• 24 to 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations or reschedule requests made between 24 and 48 hours before the session will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% can be refunded or kept as studio credit.
• Less than 24 Hours & No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or failure to show up for your booked time, will result in no refund. The block was held exclusively for you, and the studio engineer must still be compensated.

• Your studio time begins exactly at your scheduled start time, not when you arrive.
• If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time to prevent delaying the next artist.
• No partial refunds or time extensions will be granted for late arrivals. Come ready to work.

We maintain a high-end, executive recording environment. However, in the rare event of a severe technical failure, power outage, or an emergency on the studio’s end that prevents your session from taking place or completing:

Hit House Detroit Inc. will immediately issue a full refund for the lost time, or provide a free priority reschedule for your session. We stand completely by our equipment and our facility.

• No refunds will be issued based on an artist's dissatisfaction with their own vocal performance or creative output.
• Our engineers guarantee high-end technical tracking, leveling, and mixing, but the final artistic delivery is in your hands. Ensure you allocate enough time within your booked block for adequate tracking and revisions.

For large-scale bookings such as the 8-Hour Lock-In or 24-Hour EP Release Package:

• These premium blocks require a minimum of 72 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling without penalty.
• Once a multi-session package has commenced, the remaining unused hours cannot be refunded, though they may be rescheduled at the discretion of Hit House Detroit Inc. management.

Hit House Detroit Inc. reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a session immediately without a refund if an artist or their guests violate studio conduct policies, cause damage to equipment, or create an unsafe environment for our staff.
